Hello Hookers. And I'm back again with these addictive baby booties. It is so lovely, isn't it? This is perfect for your princess. This will fit for new born and up to 3 months old. You can also mix and match the colors of the yarns and ribbons. Actually, I'm currently single and no baby yet. I'm just fun of crocheting these baby stuff. Thinking of giving as a gift to my girl friends who are now on their motherhood. I'm very excited and happy to see them happy with these cuties.
Let's start:
Yarns (Cotton yarns)
Hook (3mm)
Tapestry needle
Scissors
1. Chain 10. Single crochet in the second stitch. 7 Single crochet. In the last chain, make 5 Single crochet. 7 Single Crochet. In the remaining stitch, make 2 single crochet. Slip stitch to finish the Row 1.
2. Chain 2. Half double crochet in the same stitch of the 2chains. 7 Half double crochet. In the next 5 stitches, make 2Half double crochet each. (10 HDC). 7 Half double crochet. 2half double crochet in each of the 2 remaining stitch. Slip stitch in the 2nd stitch of the 2chains.
3. Chain 2. Half double crochet in the same stitch of the 2chains. 12 Half double crochet. In the next 3 stitches, make 2 Half double crochet (6 HDC). 12 Half double crochet. In the last 2 stitches, make 2half double crochet each. Slip stitch in the 2nd stitch of the 2chains.
4. Working on the sides, we will work on the back loops. Chain 3. *Puff stitch in chain space. (PUFF STITCH by CrochetHooksYou) Atleast 7 loops. Single crochet. Skip one stitch.* Do the same for this row. For the very last puff, don't make single crochet instead slip stitch on the top of the chain 3 to secure the 4th row.
5. Chain 3. Puff stitch in each chain one space. Chain one. And repeat. For the very last puff, don't make single crochet instead slip stitch on the top of the chain 3 to secure the 5th row.
6. Chain 1. Single crochet in the same space for the chain 1. Single crochet in the next 11 stitches. 6 times 2 double crochet together (every stitches). (Crochet Two Double Crochet Together (DC2TOG) by Yarn Obsession). 12 single crochet in each stitch. Secure the row by making slip stitch.
7. Chain 1. Single crochet in the same space for the chain 1. 12 single crochet in each stitches. Twice double crochet two together. 13 single crochet. Secure the row 7 by making slip stitch.
8. Chain 1. Single crochet in the same space for the chain 1. 11 single crochet. Twice double crochet two together. 12 single crochet. Secure the row 8 by making slip stitch.
Last. Chain 4. Skip the same stitch and one chain space, make double crochet. *Chain 1. Skip stitch. Double crochet.* Repeat ** for the entire stitches. Join the row by making slip stitch at the 3rd stitch of the chain4. Chain 3. Puff stitch and chain 1 in every chain 1 space. For the very last puff, don't make single crochet instead slip stitch on the top of the chain 3. Chain 1. Single crochet in the same stitch. Single crochet in each stitch around. Securing the last row by making slip stitch. AND DONE!
Sew the excess yarn and cut. Add ribbon. And your booties are on the go!
